Proyecto Camelot
en castellano
El equipo del
Proyecto Camelot en castellano te da la bienvenida.
Somos un
grupo de
personas que trabajamos de manera totalmente voluntaria en diversas
tareas, como la traducción y revisión de textos, difusión y publicidad,
filesharing, etc.
Si quieres colaborar activamente con nosotros, elige abajo la clase de
tarea que quieras hacer. Al pinchar en un enlace, se te abrirá un
email. Para permitirnos dirigir tu email a los compañeros responsables,

I want to collaborate translating and
revising texts.
We have a
team that translates and revises texts (revision is an
integral part of the translation process). For you to join this
team, our basic requirement is that you possess a high level of English
and are able to write proper Spanish (spelling, accents, punctuation,
etc.). Translation experience and/or studies are valuable extras. If
you have translation experience, you will know, and if you don't, you
are hereby advised, that translating and revising are highly skilled
tasks that are time- and labor-intensive. In other words, this is hard
work that takes a lot of time.

We look forward
to hearing
from you.
I want to collaborate revising texts.
Once a text
has been translated, the translation needs to be
revised and corrected. Spelling, accents and punctuation need to be
checked; the style may need to be polished; and this may require
comparing the translation with the original text. This is a skilled
task
that requires a good level of English and an excellent command of
Spanish. It is also hard work and takes a lot of time. It is also a
very
rewarding contribution to the process that leads to
the publication of a translation.

I have done an independent translation.
Our Spanish
welcome page lists the translations that are publicly
available. If you have independently translated a Camelot text that is
not on the list and want to see it published, feel free to offer it to
us.
We wish to
receive only high-quality
translations. Reviewing and
correcting a deficiently translated text requires too much time and
effort. If you want your text to be accepted, make sure it is of high
quality. (To give you a basic idea: if you have used machine
translation in the process, your text will very likely not be
acceptable.)
If you wish to offer a translation, click
here.
An
email
will
open; attach your translation and send it to us.
Bear in mind
that we are volunteers working in our spare time. Getting
your text published may take time.
Finally, if
you are considering starting an independent translation, we
advise against it (without consulting
us first), as we may already be working on the same text.
